There's only five verses in the Bible about the forgiveness of sins. In Acts 5:31 Peter told the Jews that God exalted Christ as Prince & Savior - to give repentance to Israel & forgiveness of sins. In Acts 13:38 & 26:18 Paul states that Christ preached the forgiveness of sins and that God opened our eyes so we could receive the forgiveness of sins. In Eph 1:7 and Col 1:14 Paul shows that we receive the forgiveness of sins thru the redemption of HIS Blood. So we receive parden, remission, deliverance and liberty thru the Finished Work of Christ, His Payment (propitiation - Rom 3:25). We are sanctified (Acts 26:18, Rom 15:16, and 1Cor 6:11) by HIM. Likewise, we are justified by HIM (thru faith without the law) as showed in Rom 3:24 & 28, Rom 5:1 & 9, Gal 2:16, Gal 3:11 & 24, and Titus 3:7.
