Around the same time I was getting the idea that the christianese stated as "born again" might not be scriptural...my friend called me to share verses that indeed, "born again" is not an accurate description of the saved individual in this dispensation.
I was driving and couldn't write down the verse comparisons...any input or verses that could help me get this straight?

Yep, note 1Cor.15:50 and you can see the good news is we don't have to be carrying this flesh and blood when we go to be with the Lord. The even better news is that this world is not the kingdom of God, clearing up the claim that we are "advancing the kingdom" by what we do, since it is not here. All that being said, the "born again" issue is moot--v.49 says we will "bare" the image of the heavenly (Christ); then, all the way from v.42 is a description of getting born again. Now add John 3:1-12 and notice the two births--one water, the other Spirit. Water in the passage is natural birth (v.6) and the other is resurrection, when we are born of the Spirit and have what 1 Cor.15 promised. Col.1:18 declares the Lord as the "firstborn from the dead & 1 Tim.6:16 shows us He is the only one with immortality----born again is not yet. Saved, yes; born again, waiting......

That WAS a very good class on BORN AGAIN. I even printed out the verse list and made notes in my bible. Thanks Scott.

Another insight and help for me was about the rapture. My neighbor lady friend tells me there is No rapture in the bible. Now I know I can explain it to her from scripture. Wow this has been going on in my mind about my neighbor for a year. I see her almost daily. She hasn't brought it up and neither have I, but now I have the faith to discuss this again.
The post above is me, I wasn't signed in yet so it looks like a guest named, I'm NOT born again.

Wait? Are you saying the rapture has a correlation to "born again"? I'm confused.

The common refutation from those who believe it is a correct term to say that we, the body of Christ are "born again"...is that it is the SAME thing Paul meant when he talked about the new creature and especially about being "regenerated". Any thoughts on that?
I was thinking it has to do with us being atoned now waiting on regeneration...and kingdom saints were redeemed, but waiting on their atonement.
Maybe I'm just confusing what doesn't belong together.
But...any help on "regeneration" and what it really means would be great! : )
