Hi I need some help answering these Questions with a right division approach. Would love any comments you give. I am sorry there is alot....
1.Matthew (1:1-16) claims that there are 27 generations between David and Jesus, Luke (3:23-38) claims 41 generations?
2.Mark chapter 16:16: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (I dare anyone to follow this verse)..... I know this is a right div...thing I just can't explain good.
3.Does the following seem fair to you (from a rational and fairness point of view): Leviticus chapter 12:2: ...if a woman gives birth to a son, she's unclean for seven days Leviticus chapter 12:5: But if it's a girl, then she shall be unclean for two weeks... Why the difference in the number of days?
4.Numbers chapter 5:12-31---basically it says the way to find out if your wife is cheating is to bring her to the priest, who fills a pot with holy water, sprinkles some dust into it, then utters a curse. The wife then says "Amen, amen" and drinks the dusty water. If her belly swells and her thigh rots, she is guilty. If she is innocent, she will get pregnant.....(now if this method works then how come Christians do not use it and how come God tell men how to find out if their wives are cheating but does not tell the women how to find out if their husbands are cheating).......
How does the bible fits in with science?

I'll try to answer some of your questions...I'll get back to you on question #1.
2. Mark 16: 16-18 is dealing with Jesus telling his disciples about what to expect during Jacob's(Israel's) trouble during the Tribulation. See Revelation 16. All who are believers and have not received the 'mark-of-the-beast' should be able to do these things after the Seven Vials of Wrath are released.
3. These laws in Leviticus were for the Hebrew people and don't apply to us today. Because a boy-child was required to be circumcised on the 8th day after birth, the seven day rule applied; it was doubled for a girl-child. It didn't have anything to do with being fair, it was God's statues and they were to be followed.
4. I will need to study Numbers 5: 12-31 before I answer for you but remember: we being Christians(Church, the Body of Christ) are not under the law(Romans 6:14)...we are under Grace. There are 613 points of law (including the Ten Commandments) and if we were required to keep the law we could not break any of these.
Thank you JESUS for dying for us and forgiving us for all sins. (Colossians 2:13-14)
