We find in Paul's Letters two truths - our own works are worthless because thru the Law we are found guilty, but faith in GOD's Grace saves us thru no merit of our own.
Rom 3:19 - the Law makes all guilty; Rom 3:28 - we are justified by faith without the Law; Rom 7:14 - the Law is spiritual, but we am carnal, under sin; Rom 8:3 - the Law is weak thru our flesh, but Christ condemns sin thru HIS flesh; Rom 10:4 - Christ is the end of the Law for those who believe; Gal 2:16 - we are not justified by the Law, but by the faith of Christ; Gal 3:11-13 - again, we are not justified by the Law, the just live by faith, the Law is not faith, Christ redeems us from the Law; Gal 3:24 - the Law is our schoolmaster unto Christ that we might live by faith; Eph 2:15 - Christ abolished the Law; Phil 3:9 - there is no righteousness in the Law, but thru faith in Christ; 1 Tim 1:9 - the Law is not for a righteous person but for the sinner.
Rom 3:24 - we are justified freely by HIS Grace; Rom 6:14 - we are not under the Law but Grace; Rom 11:6 - Grace is not of works; Eph 1:7 - we recieve redemption & forgiveness thru HIS Grace; 2 Thess 2:16 - Christ gives us everlasting consolation & good hope thru Grace; 1 Tim 1:14 - HIS Grace was exceeding abundant with faith; 2 Tim 1:9 - we are saved and called, not by our works, but according to HIS Purpose & Grace; Titus 2:11 - the Grace of GOD bring salvation; Titus 3:7 - we are justified by HIS Grace and made heirs.
The difference is as clear as night and day!
