The Holy bible has to be the most unread, yet most misquoted best seller on the face of the earth. People will tell you what they think it says, or ought to say, yet they have no idea where such verses are. Most people dust off their Bible to carry it to the church building, sit there and listen to what their religious leader has to say without looking up the verses for themselves. I know firsthand, I use to be one of those people. Now, since I have put my faith & trust in the Finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to Paul's Gospel, I find the opposite true. Especially since I now know what rightly divide means. Israel had the Law, we now have Grace; Israel has earthly promises, we have Heavenly promises; Israel had the 12, we have Paul; Israel had Christ during His earthly ministry, we have the Risen Savior, the list goes on... We are a nation that was founded on religious freedom that is now trying for freedom from religion. We are a nation that has millions of Bibles, while people in other nations are tortured and killed for having one. But, as God said, "to whom much is given, much is required."
I thank God for the King James Version of the Bible! I thank the Lord Jesus Christ that He opened my eyes to the Gospel of Grace that He gave to the Apostle Paul! I thank the Holy Spirit that baptized me into the Body of Christ!

Absolutely Homer. You hit the nail on the head. Our nation has been so blessed, and most Americans only have time for God when they want their prayers answered. Oh, HOW SAD! I know many people who come to church with no Bible, or don't even want to read the Bible. Sure, they're religious, but lost. I am a KJV supporter too, despite the opposition we get. The Bible has become a book of nonsense and confusion to most simply because the devil's robbed them of the knowledge of "rightly dividing." But, as Grace Age believers, we've got a job to do, a commission to fulfill: "to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the begining of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 3:9). We've got the ministry of reconciliation, and no one else BUT US are willing to do it!

So sad that denominations with great buildings and tithing members with 100's of versions of the Bible, think all that is Godly gain.....and couldn't save someone with the Gospel if their life depended on it....and it DOES. They don't need all that. Just need KJV word of truth and to trust in Jesus Christ finished work on the cross plus nothing and believe Jesus was raised from the dead. The the Holy Spirit will do a lot of teaching.
God Bless
